Perfumes Similar To Memo Paris Marfa [Best In 2024]

Written By Lamaya Mahboob

When Memo Paris launched Marfa in 2016, I wanted to buy it badly. I was at university then, and my shoestring budget prevented me from purchasing it.

I waited for a while to finally have it, but in the meantime, I have researched and used some fabulous perfumes that are exactly similar to it!perfumes-similar-to-memo-paris-marfa

Today, I will discuss the amazing alternatives to Memo Paris Marfa. If you want to know about them, hang on until the end.

What Does Memo Paris Marfa Smell Like?

Memo Paris Marfa sprinkles a citrusy breeze of Mandarin orange and flourishes with a lovely floral and sweet aura of the star note, tuberose at heart. Also, the sweetness of ylang-ylang and agave takes a tropical turn and softly deepens it with musk and sandalwood in the base.

Marfa was released in the blooming spring of 2016. It was formulated by the trained and experienced perfumer Alienor Massenet.

The subtle tanginess of Marfa, along with the blossomy accords and tropic sweetness of ylang-ylang, will revitalize your soul to the core. Finally, the creamy wooded sensuality and musky depth hit the nose with a wave of affection and love.

So, let’s take a glance at the notes pyramid of Marfa by Memo Prais:

Top Notes: Orange Blossom, Mandarin Orange

Middle Notes: Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang, Agave

Base Notes: Vanilla, Sandalwood, White Musk, Cedar

Memo Paris Marfa radiates a blossomy-sweet aroma of orange blossom paired with the citrusy twist of Mandarin orange.

In a while, the perfume reveals an elegant floral and sweet aura of tuberose, which reminds me of my last vacation in Spain. Sniffing that smell, I can reminisce about having crème brûlée at a floral-themed restaurant there.

Plus, the rich floral sweetness of ylang-ylang and the slightly earthy tint of agave will give you a beach vibe with a kick of refreshment.

In the dry-down, vanilla comes in to produce an enchanting sensation.

Later, the buttery-timbering sandalwood whiff coated with the musky accords adds a touch of lustful sensuality to your presence.

Its long-lasting aura will smarten up yourself in the heated summer sun. However, the dark base of this perfume suffices for snowy, breezy months, too.

The floral-woody blend of Marfa projects heavily, and its powerful sillage will make your arrival more notable.

What Perfumes Are Similar To Memo Paris Marfa?

Memo Paris Marfa offers an incredible combination of different floral and woody notes. It’s the kind of perfume that will hold you with confidence and sensational boldness.

Although Marfa by Memo Paris is a mass-appealing sensation, the niche house comes with a steep price tag and is not widely distributed in the market.

For this reason, I have identified some praiseworthy alternatives to Marfa. I will elaborate on them in the below section.

Here are the top 6 dupes of Memo Paris Marfa:

1. Marfa Oud Memo Paris

marfa-oud-memo-paris

Notes: Agarwood, Vanilla, Agave, Citruses, Ebony, Neroli, Orange Blossom, Sandalwood, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang, Cedar, White Musk

Marfa Oud is another fantastic perfume by Memo Paris. It has a very similar smell to Marfa but with enhanced notes.

I have already collected a sample of the recent release. With my experience of the two, it’s safe to call Marfa Oud a clone of Marfa.

As I sprayed it, I received a strong punch of tanginess from citruses and neroli. Immediately, the soapy-floral faceted orange blossom tired it giving an enchanting vibe.

However, orange blossom does have an animalic undertone, which is not well-accepted by many users. The bright part is the refreshing and sharp citrusy notes. Thus, my nose sensed a concealed and fresh hint of orange blossom rather than the fecal edge.

After a while, a rich-floral and sweet nuance of ylang-ylang and tuberose created a mind-evoking ambiance, and the subtle earthiness of agave gave a feeling of relief to my mind.

In the dry-down, a lightly woody and sweet tint of agarwood came in, but I feel it soon got replaced by the creaminess of sandalwood.

Gradually, white musk magnified the base with its delicate touch.

Marfa oud lasts over 12 hours, and the scent trail travels a long distance.

When to Wear

The lovely floral-vanilla magic of Marfa oud is very suitable for the winter and fall seasons. However, with a reviving twist of citruses, you can also pick this beauty in the heated weather. Plus, its elegance will go with any attire from day to night.

Why Should You Buy

  • Beautiful floral-woody blend.
  • Strong projection.
  • Excellent lasting power.
  • Closest clone of Marfa Memo Paris.
  • Gives a potent aura.
  • Positive user review.

2. Armani Privè Vert Malachite Giorgio Armani

Top Notes: Bitter Orange, Petitgrain

Middle Notes: Jasmine Sambac, Ylang-Ylang, Pink Pepper

Base Notes: Lily, Vanilla, Benzoin

Armani Prive Vert Malachite by Giorgio Armani is a worthy substitute for Marfa. This opulent woody-aromatic combo was launched in 2016 and composed by Fabrice Pellegrin.

In the beginning, Armani Prive Vert Malachite unfolds a revitalizing citrus flavor from bitter orange and petitgrain.

Moreover, you can sense a slight woody hint just after spraying it. Initially, the woodiness feels obscure. Actually, it comes in with petitgrain, which derives from the leaves of a type of orange tree.

The elegant and appealing sensation of jasmine sambac in the middle complements the rich-floral ylang-ylang along with a seducing, zesty tone of pink pepper.

After drying, it infuses a spicy-blossomy aura of lily.

Since the lily has a sweetness underneath, it swiftly merges with the potent smell of vanilla and benzoin. Plus, there was a creamy tint too.

Together, they created a captivating buttery-blossomy base that doesn’t feel cloying after a certain period.

It stays up to 8 hours on my clothes and leaves a sillage for a minimum of 7-8 feet. Furthermore, its projection is room-filling.

When to Wear

Armani Prive Vert Malachite suits the summer and spring due to its floral prominence. But if you want, you can use this in snowy seasons as well. It is wearable at any time of the day. In my view, with such heavy projection, it can be an excellent option for date nights.

Why Should You Buy

  • Refined and subtle notes.
  • Creamy and denser floral aura.
  • Balanced formula.
  • Complements elegantly when layered with other perfumes.
  • Interesting dry-down.
  • Sleek flacon.
  • Compliment magnet.
  • Persistent sillage.

3. Supreme Bouquet (Le Vestiaire des Parfums) Yves Saint Laurent

Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Bergamot

Middle Notes: Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang

Base Notes: Amber, Woody Notes, Patchouli

Yves Saint Laurent has released many best-smelling women’s perfumes so far, but Supreme Bouquet (Le Vestiaire des Parfums) is so well admired that after discontinuation of its original version (Supreme Bouquet 2013), it was relaunched in 2017.

I was also eagerly waiting to grab this iconic piece and finally bought it after the reintroduction.

A sparkling citrusy hint of bergamot hits the nose in the first sniff of Supreme Bouquet (Le Vestiaire des Parfums).

Moreover, the added sexiness of pink pepper creates a mind-hooking environment.

I don’t prefer my perfume to be too flattering. And I like how this fragrance tones down the zestiness with sweet-floral tuberose and a rich-blossomy twist of ylang-ylang.

In the finishing, amber comes in, creating a warm base, and the captivating aura of woody notes spreads in the ambiance.

Later, a calming and mild musky-earthy tone of patchouli comes to light.

I can smell this on me after applying it. Plus, it projects heavily to bring a bunch of compliments.

When to Wear

Supreme Bouquet is a versatile gem. Hence, you can wear it year-round and on any occasion. It’s the best perfume for a day out with friends or before hitting the bar at night.

Why Should You Buy

  • Fantastic longevity.
  • A pleasing reminiscent of different flowers.
  • Luxurious aroma.
  • Attention-grabbing projection.
  • Loved by many.
  • Gives an elegant impression.

4. Plein Soleil Yves Rocher

Notes: Indian Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang, Australian Sandalwood, Guatemalan Cardamom

Plein Soleil by Yves Rocher is an outstanding alternative to Marfa at a reasonable price. But in terms of performance, it’s an excellent piece.

After pumping Plein Soleil, my nose detected a strong and intriguing spicy aroma. It came in from Guatemalan cardamom. Immediately, I noticed some sweetness and warmness, a distinct feature of this note.

Moments ahead, revealed a charming, sweet sensation from Indian tuberose layered with the rich and sophisticated touch of ylang-ylang.

Although the brand didn’t mention it, I sensed a strong creamy texture of coconut coming from the perfume. Perhaps the brand kept is confidential. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the surprising twist.

In the base, Australian sandalwood produced a lovely creamy-wooded aura.

I prefer sandalwood in my scents due to the mood-lifting and passionate vibe it propagates. Also, it is one of the ingredients that make perfume last longer.

When to Wear

Plein Soleil suits the spring and summer most. Plus, its vibe goes along the daytime beautifully.

Why Should You Buy

  • Composed and soothing aura.
  • Great for summer outings.
  • Affordable dupe of Marfa.
  • Good longevity.
  • Comparable performance to high-end perfumes.

5. Princesse De Galles Maïssa Parfums

princesse-de-galles-maissa-parfums

Top Notes: Ylang-Ylang, Grass, Bergamot

Middle Notes: Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Tuberose

Base Notes: Cedar, Vanilla, Amber

Princesse de Galles by Maïssa Parfums is an affordable perfume that you can use as a substitute for Marfa.

Princesse de Galles infuses a rich-floral and sweet sensation of ylang-ylang at the top.

Plus, grass and bergamot’s sweet, herbaceous, and citrusy aura creates an uplifting vibe. That’s why I love to apply this perfume during summer when I have a long day ahead.

In the core, the smell of jasmine creates an aromatic-sweet and sensual vibration.

Though jasmine has a potent hint, it doesn’t overshadow the elegance of orange blossom and tuberose. I could still sniff their blossomy-sweet essence.

When it settles on the skin, you will perceive a warming woody aroma flourishing from cedar and amber in the base. Then, the opulence of vanilla gives a delightful touch to the nose.

It lasts for over 7 hours, and the projection is attention-grabbing. Every time I apply it, it’s obvious to receive compliments from strangers.

When to Wear

Princesse de Galles is also a multifaceted fragrance. Therefore, it’s safe to say that you can carry this all year, throughout any function from dawn to dusk. In my view, it’s an office-friendly perfume.

Why Should You Buy

  • Long-lasting.
  • 6 feet length of sillage.
  • Unisex.
  • Good return for the price.
  • Lovely dry-down.
  • Doesn’t irritate the olfactory system.

6. Intuitive Aristocrazy

intuitive-aristocrazy

Top Notes: Cardamom, Pink Pepper

Middle Notes: White Flowers, Freesia, Jasmine

Base Notes: Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Musk

The golden beauty Intuitive by Aristocrazy can be your replacement for Marfa Memo Paris at an affordable rate. I won’t call it a dupe but after a few moments, it starts to smell exactly like Marfa.

The opening of Intuitive is intensely seductive with the smooth layering of spicy cardamom and pink pepper.

The core unleashes an elegant and enchanting floral vibe, reminding me of visiting a nursery during spring. White flowers, freesia, and jasmine collaborate to create an irresistible sweet-floral sensation.

Finally, in the dry-down, vanilla and tonka bean spreads an engaging spicy aroma. A slightly woody and musky tint comes in with an intriguing twist.

Performance-wise, Intuitive is quite mediocre. However, considering the price, I think it’s a good deal.

When to Wear

Intuitive suffices for the warm weather, but I like to apply this in the winter. Also, I like to layer it with other fragrances before my date nights. My man loves that.

Why Should You Buy

  • Moderate performance.
  • Gorgeous packaging.
  • Suitable for women of all ages.
  • Lovely creamy hint.

Ending Notes

Many brands are entering the perfume business, and that’s undoubtedly a piece of promising news. However, it has a down end, too. In the huge realm of perfumery, one is more likely to be misled into buying fragrances that are not worth our hard-earned money.

Therefore, I have analyzed and tested each and every substitute for Memo Paris Marfa. Hence, you can blindly try these options without the risk of buying cheap replicas.

I hope this article is fruitful for you. Goodbye.
