Dior Hypnotic Poison is loved by women all over the world.

But it is understandable if you are looking for a similar alternative of Dior Hypnotic Poison because you want to try something new or you want a cheaper substitute.

After testing a lot of fragrances, I have created a list of 5 perfumes that are similar to Dior Hypnotic Poison.

Perfumes Similar To Dior Hypnotic Poison

Which Perfumes Smell Like Dior Hypnotic Poison?

Dior Hypnotic Poison was released in 1998 by the perfumers named Annick Menardo and Christian Dussoulier. Christian Dior’s Hypnotic Poison is the best perfume available if you’re searching for a timeless masterpiece.

Any woman who collects fragrances will name Hypnotic Poison as one of her top 5 favorites when asked. Despite being old, this perfume is pure gold. This juice in two sprays is always a good idea.

The top notes of Hypnotic Poison are coconut, apricot and plum.

You will be given plum and coconut at the start. However, the coconut gives you a loving hug rather than throwing you onto the sand. After a time, lily-of-the-valley and a soft Brazilian rosewood scent will arise.

This fragrance, in my opinion, has one of the best dry downs. Despite the notes’ simplicity, their combination has magical effects. The frosting on sugar cookies comes to mind when I taste the vanilla and almond.

Its sweetness and gloom will compel folks to inquire about your smell. This perfume is hypnotic, as its name suggests. Its creamy, sweet aroma is intoxicating, and everyone wants more.

This fragrance is a beast. Everyone in the room will see you as soon as you enter. The lifespan can be extended to 12 hours.

So, here are the top perfumes that smell like Dior’s Hypnotic Poison:

Juliette Has A Gun Mmmm

Juliette Has A Gun Mmmm

Top notes are Raspberry, Geranium and Neroli;

Middle notes are Tuberose, iris, Orange Blossom and Jasmine Sambac;

Base notes are Vanilla, Caramel, Sandalwood, Heliotrope, White Musk and Patchouli.

It is a powdery alternative of Hypnotic Poison. It starts out with luscious raspberry and continues with vanilla and caramel.

Quickly, a strong anise-flavored bitter almond note develops beneath to provide some contrast with Dior’s Hypnotic Poison.

Flowers and powder cover the entire heart. Tuberose that smells like bubblegum and delicate iris powder combine to create a genuine cloud of delicacy. A hint of orange blossom enhances the gourmand feeling, making it reminiscent of the upscale Parisian bakery.

After 15 to 20 minutes, the vanilla starts to emerge, and it is joined by the heliotrope and iris notes to give it that blend of powder and creaminess.

It becomes very simple with the addition of sandalwood and musk in the dry down.

Nothing offensive about it, and none of the notes upset or caused headaches or screamed for attention. Mmm’s packaging is incredibly creative and considerate.

When to wear:

You can wear it in any season. The combination of floral and powdery texture helps the scent to work in winter and summer.

Why you should wear it:

  • Inoffensive scent
  • Feminine perfume
  • All year round scent

Night Christina Aguilera

Night Christina Aguilera

Top notes are Red Apple, Pineapple, Tangerine, Rhubarb and Freesia;

Middle notes are Heliotrope, Peach Blossom and Lily-of-the-Valley;

Base notes are Vanille, Amber, Sandalwood and oak moss.

Christina Aguilera by Night’s opening performance is quite fruity. Here, various additional tropical fruits, primarily pineapple, are combined with a really good apple note.

The absence of the almond note will be the primary difference. Sandalwood, powdered heliotrope, and vanilla all play significant roles in this fragrance.

It has an extremely rich and romantic scent. It’s seductive and endearing without being cloying or immature. the perfume balances the sweet aroma perfectly. This perfume is exceptionally well-balanced. I suppose I might call it the offspring of hypnotic poison.

This has a beautiful vanilla aroma, especially in the later stages, and is a dark, rich sweetness. Bottles can be harder to come by, so it might not be a choice for very long.

When to wear:

The fruity-sweet scent is appropriate for fall and winter. Also, it is preferable if you wear such a heavy sweet fragrance at night.

Why you should wear it:

  • Very similar to Hypnotic Poison
  • Sweet fragrance

Valentino Valentina Poudre

Valentino Valentina Poudre

Top notes are Powdery Notes and Ambrette (Musk Mallow);

Middle notes are iris and Tuberose;

Base notes are Vanilla, Sandalwood and Tonka Bean.

Valentina Poudre is luxuriously smooth and sensually pleasant. With a significant amount of powdery notes, the vanilla is a mature variety that isn’t overly sweet and in equal amounts with the iris.

Sandalwood and tuberose speak loudly in the middle. The tuberose will remind you of hypnotic Poison immediately. Tuberose and iris blend with soothing, warm vanilla and sandalwood in the dry down.

The sweet aroma from vanilla is identical to what you get in Hypnotic poison.

With a touch of sex appeal and refinement, the perfume continues to flourish. Powdery, thrilling, sensual, feminine, sweet, and well-balanced are all available in this bottle.

When to wear:

The best time to wear it is in fall and winter. It is a more daytime fragrance.

Why you should wear it?

  • 90% similar to Hynopic Poison
  • Feminine scent
  • Good longevity

Tesori d’Oriente Fiore del Dragone

Tesori d'Oriente Fiore del Dragone

Top notes are Almond, Pitahaya and Apricot;

Middle notes are Jasmine, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang and Orange Blossom;

Base notes are Vanilla, Sandalwood, Amber and Musk.

Is this an absolute duplicate of our favorite ‘Hypnotic Poison’? No, but it can resemble something quite similar during its dry down.

The perfume of Fiore del Dragone is not the most sophisticated one available. But for a far lower cost, it may provide a comparable experience to the Dior. Along with the almond, additional elements, including apricot, jasmine, vanilla, and sandalwood, are also present.

This one performs surprisingly well for what it is, despite having a milder sillage. In comparison to Hypnotic Poison, the opening act is fruitier and sweeter. It also seems to have a lighter fragrance. Nevertheless, it and what we’re seeking for having a lot in common.

When to wear:

Fiore del Dragone’s sweet aroma goes perfectly with fall and winter. Wear it when you are wrapped around your blanket and having your hot chocolate.

Why you should wear it:

  • Dry down is similar to Hypnotic Poison
  • Great value of its price
  • Feminine scent

Narciso Rodriguez Narciso PoudreeNarciso Rodriguez Narciso Poudree

Top notes are Jasmine, Bulgarian Rose and Orange Blossom;

Middle note is Musk;

Base notes are Coumarin, Cedar, Vetiver and Patchouli.

You’ll notice right away that it has a powdered fragrance at first. Rose provides this perfume with strength and weight, and the white florals offer a crispness to keep it from being a full-on powder bomb. It’s evenly distributed. The rose blossoms the same way in both Hypnotic poison and Narciso Poudree.

It is one of the most famous powdery scents of all time. It is definitely my favorite.

Due to the fact that it differs from the musk used in other fragrances, Narciso Rodriguez’s musk is quite well-known. It is delicate and silky. You will, however, get at least 8 to 10 hours of longevity.

You can only envision a sophisticated woman wearing this to signal to others that she is in charge.

It is such a pleasant to see the nude bottle surrounded by a thick glass of Narciso Poudree.

When to wear:

One of the top features of this fragrance is that you can wear this every season. The scent is so easygoing that you can make it your everyday wear. Grocery shopping, date, party, or work event, you name it, it works for every activity.

Why to wear it:

  • Best powdery scent
  • Good longevity
  • Beautiful bottle
