My nose is greeted with an iris note, a great freshness, and other warm powdery floral elements as soon as Prada L’Homme opens. The iris blends beautifully with the neroli and violet notes, which are all encased in the customary Prada amber.
On the other hand, Bleu de Chanel gets things started with a really lovely citrus combination. Although grapefruit takes the lead, you also get a little bit of lemon at the beginning.

When it comes to longevity, I get about 6-7 hours of wear time with both the fragrances, which isn’t fantastic but is still fairly adequate.
I do wish L’Homme had a little more strength. That would, in my opinion, make it genuinely elite in terms of this particular smell.
Although the aroma doesn’t linger too long, 7 hours is definitely reachable with sufficient spraying for Bleu and L’Homme.

However, Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette is available in 3 sizes, 1.7 oz costs $90, 3.4 oz costs $110, and 5 oz costs $145.
So, even though the Chanel scent is available in more sizes, when you weigh the prices, the same-sized bottle of L’Homme costs less than Bleu.
Hence, I would say that in terms of value for the price, L’Homme is the better choice.
Overall Scent
Now, comparing their overall scent will be the final round in deciding which is the better option.
When it comes to L’Homme, the composition has a delicate floral sweetness, and there aren’t any fruity or candied components. Although L’Homme is a fairly straightforward cologne, it has a strong foundation of cedar, mild pepper, and a tiny amount of patchouli to help it feel less feminine.
On the other hand, Bleu EDT isn’t really complicated, either. The grapefruit will remain along with the vetiver, incense, and general woodiness. This even begins to smell a little musky as it develops.
This fragrance isn’t overtly woody, though. Sandalwood and cedar are both quite light. Under the citrus/incense with the mint and ginger, a lot of vetivers are evident.
Anyways, when comparing the overall profile, I would say that Bleu de Chanel takes the crown as it has the superior scent, in my opinion.
