Juicy Couture launches top-quality fragrances for female consumers around the world. Their perfumes are juicy and sweet, like their name.
Viva La Juicy Noir is one of the enchanting & fruity-floral perfumes by Juicy Couture which was introduced in 2013. Ten years have passed, so individuals are looking for alternatives to this perfume.
Hence, today I’ll be listing out some perfumes that smell like Viva La Juicy Noir.
Without further ado, let’s unwrap the list!
What Does Viva La Juicy Noir Smell Like?
Viva La Juicy Noir is a fruity, floral, and gourmand-type fragrance. The feminine scent has a bundle of sweet berries, calming aroma of honeysuckle, and a warm touch of sandalwood. Sugariness is the most prominent flavor of this perfume which comes from juicy berries and a hint of caramel.
Here is the complete breakdown of Viva La Juicy Noir’s notes:
Top Notes: Wild Berries and Mandarin Orange
Middle Notes: Gardenia, Honeysuckle, Jasmine
Base Notes: Caramel, Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood
The perfume conveys pure happiness with its balsamic and sugary-smelling aroma. Sometimes, it reflects delicious berry-flavored candies and other times; it reminds me of vanilla essence riched caramel pudding with berry toppings.
However, the fragrance is not overly sweet. Indeed, the flawless tuning of tangy fruits and pleasant flowery accords such as gardenia, honeysuckle, & jasmine has moderated the sweetness. Hence it is considered one of the best-selling women’s perfumes by Juicy Couture.
The buoyant & girly fragrance is a pretty nice choice for young consumers. It lasts for 4-6 hours with moderate sillage. But the smell lingers for two to three days on the clothes.
Which Perfumes Smell Similar To Viva La Juicy Noir?
After testing ten to fifteen perfumes, I have noted 5 dupes that are very close to Viva La Juicy Noir. Even sometimes, their essence & performance is better than Juicy Noir.
So, let’s see the alternative of Viva La Juicy Noir:
1. Viva La Juicy Juicy Couture
Top Notes: Wild Berries and Mandarin Orange
Middle Notes: Gardenia, Honeysuckle, Jasmine
Base Notes: Caramel, Praline, Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood
The first clone of the list is Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture. All of the notes of this perfume are similar to the Viva La Juicy Noir except for the Praline in the base.
So, the opening and heart are absolutely analogous to Viva La Juicy Noir, i.e., vibrant, fruity, and white floral. I sniffed a synthetic fruity smell from the dupe.
In the end, the perfume is more focused on praline, caramel, and vanilla without any floral vibe. Praline is a delightful candy that elicits a gourmet smell of caramel and hazelnut. However, these gourmand notes’ scent isn’t too heavy.
When To Wear
Due to having a gourmet and floral character at the same time, it is for all seasons, including winter & fall. So, when you’re about to join a casual get-together in the winter evening, don’t forget about this fruity perfume.
Why Should You Buy
- 6-7 hours of longevity.
- Decent for all seasons.
- Youthful vibe.
- Reasonable price.
2. Viva la Juicy Gold Couture Juicy Couture
Top Notes: Wild Berries, Gardenia, Lily of the Valley
Middle Notes: Honeysuckle, Jasmine Sambac, Vanilla Orchid
Base Notes: Caramel, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Praline
Viva la Juicy Gold Couture is a bit different from the Viva La Juicy due to the addition of the lily of the valley & vanilla orchid. The sugary berries offer a fruity touch, which is soothed by the relaxing flavor of white flowers, including lily of the valley and gardenia.
The mindblowing bonding of honeysuckle, jasmine & vanilla orchid persists this calming fragrance in the middle layer too.
At the base, it shows caramelly sweetness and a bit of woodiness. This blending not only provides a cheerful vibe but also brings about romance in the air. So no matter how many perfumes a woman has, she should add this one to her collection.
The overall cheerful aroma of this clone reminds me of my golden days, and I think that’s why it is named Juicy Gold Couture!
When To Wear
You can wear it any casual day or night, regardless of the season. The appealing scent will drag melting compliments toward you.
Why Should You Buy
- Joyful aroma.
- Praise grabbing.
- Long-lasting.
- Good projection & sillage.
3. Sexy Little Things Noir Tease Victoria’s Secret
Top Notes: Pear, Litchi, Red Apple, Mandarin Orange
Middle Notes: Gardenia, Jasmine, Sweet Pea, Freesia, Magnolia
Base Notes: Vanilla, Praline, Amber, Musk, Sandalwood, Benzoin
Luscious fruits, sensual flowers, and captivating base accords have made Sexy Little Things Noir Tease a sexy & confident piece.
It evokes a very pleasant fruity smell at the beginning. I really enjoy the first sniff of this fragrance which is full of litchi. Soon, it will create a sense of love and purity with the floral notes. This fantastic transition of aromatic notes will fill your mood with joy.
The ending has a vanilla-musky flavor that uplifts alluring nuances. However, the longevity of Sexy Little Things Noir Tease is not so satisfactory. It stays only for 3-4 hours.
When To Wear
You can apply this during dates to attract your loved one. Though the dupe suits well in all seasons, I think spring & fall is the best period to wear this one. Because during hot summer days, it won’t last long.
Why Should You Buy
- Sexy but inoffensive.
- Not overpowering.
- Intoxicating & well-blended.
- Affordable.
4. Gran Ballo Xerjoff
Top Notes: Red Berries and Tangerine
Middle Notes: Gardenia, Jasmine, Honey
Base Notes: Caramel, Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood
This dupe is all about the sweet essence of caramel, amber & vanilla, and the floral touch of gardenia.
I sniffed a light fruity opening but couldn’t perceive any smell of red berries. Within a few minutes, a gorgeous smell of gardenia tickled my nose which lasted till the end.
Since gardenia is considered an anxiety reliever, I often spray it on my wrist & neck to stay calm.
Now, let’s see how the dry-down is. It is full of creamy and sugary zest, which results from the ideal fusion of sandalwood, caramel, and amber. So, you may grasp bubble gum-like flavor in the dry down as I get.
When To Wear
In my humble opinion, Gran Ballo by Xerjoff has a comforting scent of gardenia along with delicate sweetness. So wearing them on spring & summer days will be more suitable.
Why Should You Buy
- Elegant perfume.
- Impressive tones of gardenia.
- Mature version of Viva la Juicy Noir.
- Spread scent for 7-12 hours.
- Moderate sillage.
- Worth the bucks.
5. Rrrr! By Carmen Electra
Top Notes: Mandarin Orange, Peach, Blackberry
Middle Notes: Gardenia, Orchid, Jasmine
Base Notes: Caramel, Amber, Sandalwood, and Musk
This affordable clone is reminiscent of Viva La Juicy Noir’s fruity-floral sweet mist. And if any inexperienced nose is blind tested, he/she will be perplexed while identifying Viva la Juicy Noir & Rrrr! Carmen Electra.
The opening and heart match 80-85% to Juicy Noir. But the dry down is exactly identical. Rrrr! appears with a proper blend of citrusy & fruity aromas at first. In the dry-down, it becomes full of caramel and a musky tone.
Personally, I’m in love with the heart of this fragrance because it is very peaceful with gardenia, orchid & jasmine essence. And I really don’t need to explain how good-scented these flowers are, especially the smell of jasmine!
However, the flacon of this perfume is really weird, which is why I don’t like to put it on my vanity shelf!
When To Wear
The perfume holds a seductive edge along with gentle touch & maturity. So it is a nice choice for going out during summer, fall, and spring days.
Why Should You Buy
- Great value for the price.
- 5-6 hours of longevity on average.
- Mild sillage.
- Budget-friendly clone of Viva la Juicy Noir.
