Though this perfume has a visible difference in notes from the OG, it eventually evolves into a fairly same smell with some added sizzling twist.

In the first spritz, La Nuit Trésor à la Folie opens with a delicious fruity aroma of red currant that imitates the cherry notes. Plus, the pear’s juicy, sweet hint elevates its toothsome vibe.

Then, an enlivening citrusy sensation of bergamot comes in along with the exotic touch of pink pepper.

At heart, jasmine radiates an alluring floral aroma on top of the mind evoking powdery sensation of damask rose and violet. Peony elevates the blossomy vibe with its rosy elegance.

Upon maturing, this fragrance resembles Black Opium Over Red with vanilla and the earthiness of patchouli. Also, benzoin amplifies the syrupy facet of vanilla, and tonka bean gives a similar hunch to the coffee notes.

Other fragrances from this series are often mentioned among the best-smelling Lancome perfumes. But, this one is rarely mentioned. In my opinion, this fragrance deserves more praise.

La Nuit Trésor à la Folie’s pleasing vanillic aura is an excellent choice during cold temperatures. Also, its heavy projection and seducing smell are best for date nights.
