Club de Nuit’s opening is very strong and citrusy. This is a major difference that I’ve found while testing.
Look, with creed aventus, you’ll get the infamous pineapple note prominently in the opening. Whereas in Club de Nuit, the lemon and bergamot burst will hit you hard. To me, it was harsh and slightly alcoholic.
I still got hints of the pineapple note there, but mostly it’s in the background.
Luckily, after the opening, this cologne has the same development as creed aventus. Jasmine and Birch notes shine in the heart. Once dried down, you will immediately recognize the signature smokey vibe of aventus.
At this point, People around me couldn’t tell the difference between the original and the clone. The dry down of both colognes is nearly identical.

But trust me, when you sniff this, you’ll not be able to differentiate between creed aventus and L’aventure.
Just like Armaf Club de nuit, the opening of L’aventure is distinct. You’ll get delightfully rich and fresh lemon with bergamot. It hits differently than the fruity pineapple of aventus.
However, in the dry down, it was tough for me to compare it with Creed Aventus.
They’re almost identical! The amber gives it a warmth and subtle sweetness, just like the vanilla note in aventus.
Finally, the projection was solid throughout the day with 15+ hrs of longevity.

Well, I’ll just say that with an affordable price tag and excellent longevity, L’aventure is one of the closest alternatives of creed aventus in the market. It’s kind of a sweeter and less smokey version of the original. Which I think is better than getting other poorly formulated replicas.

Although, I would instead call this an alternative to a clone. The opening is bright, fresh, and zesty, thanks to bergamot. It will remind you of the fresh fruity opening of Creed Aventus.
For me, this is where vibrant leather smells like aventus the most. First, you’ll get a soft woody vibe from the bamboo note instead of birch in the dry down. Then, when it tangles with the leather note, you’ll know the reason behind the fragrance name.
Honestly, this is one of the most beautiful leather-based colognes that I’ve used.

Look, this is not the “ultimate” aventus clone. However, the opening is fresher, and the smell is fantastic on its own. I also love the classy and minimal design of the Bottle.
However, if this cologne lets me down on one aspect, it’s the average longevity. On my skin, the scent faded after 3-4 hours.
Still, the projection was strong. So if you’re looking for a fresh masculine fragrance that resembles creed aventus, Zara vibrant leather is a solid option.

Finally, I found an excellent aventus clone that utilized the pineapple note properly!
Afnan Supremacy Silver is one of the older players in the creed aventus clone league. But to this day, it’s still popular in the fragrance community. I loved the stylish and elegant bottle design when I first saw this in the store.
After sniffing, I immediately picked up the pineapple and blackcurrant notes that almost smelled like creed aventus. At that point, I was sold already.
But it doesn’t stop there!
In the drydown, you’ll get the woody, smokey scent from Birch. I also noticed a floral vibe here from jasmine and rose notes. The blend of these notes makes the drydown incredible and nearly identical to the creed’s original formulation.
In terms of replicating Creed Aventus, this would get a solid 9 from me.
The longevity and projection can match the original too. It’s incredibly strong and lasts throughout the day on my skin, just like aventus. So you can say it’s a beast mode fragrance.

Rumz Al Rasasi 9325 pour Lai [Rasasi Zebra]
Middle notes: Jasmine, freesia, and lily of the valley.
Base notes: Ambergris, cedar, leather, white musk, oakmoss, and patchouli.
Rumz Al Rasasi 9325 pour Lai ( commonly known as Rasasi Zebra) is one of my favorite colognes that legit smells like Creed aventus.
This phenomenal cologne was released in 2013. But it’s only recently that the fragrance has been gaining popularity among the community.
Just like Creed Aventus, this opens with a fresh fruity smell of pineapple, bergamot, and lemon. The only extra notes to add some depth here are plum and pepper. The opening is on par with Aventus, I think. But the lemon note is harsher here, and it stays for a long time.
The dry-down is woody, mixed with some floral notes. I really like this part of the scent.
Finally, the longevity and projection of Rasasi Zebra EDP were impressive. It lasted 7-8 hrs on my skin with strong sillage.

WHEN TO WEAR:
You can wear Rasasi zebra to any casual or formal event. Admittedly, it’s a little stronger than Creed’s fragrance. But people won’t be able to tell if you’re wearing aventus or not.
With only a fraction of the cost of creed aventus, you’d better grab this excellent cologne.

Mont Blanc Explorer
Middle notes: Vetiver and leather.

Out of all the clones, this latest release from Mont blanc was the most expensive cologne. It’s more of an inspired creation rather than a direct clone of Creed Aventus.
The opening is light and fruity, with hints of sharp spiciness from pink pepper.
I also got a subtle herbal scent from the sage note. So you can see that the opening is a bit different from the aventus.
However, in the dry down, I started to get the familiar woody vibe that’s present in creed aventus. After that, it mixes with vetiver and leather to create a modern twist on the legendary scent profile of Aventus.
Mont Blanc Explorer felt like a simplified version of Creed aventus to me. It’s really versatile, and the blend of notes is delightfully unique. But it doesn’t have the same depth as Aventus.
For the price that I paid, I was not pleased with the longevity. It lasted 4+ hours with decent projection before becoming a skin scent.

Well, this cologne is the cheapest option among all the fragrances that I’ve tested for this blog. And if you’re skeptical after seeing the price, don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed.
As soon as you spray this, you’ll recognize the fresh citrus fruity vibe of Creed Aventus.

One thing I must mention here, often in cheap fragrances, the opening is very alcoholic and inoffensive. But I was rather surprised to see that isn’t the case here. Instead, the opening aroma is fruity and pleasant.
After some time, woody notes start to take over. In drydown, a balanced blend of musk and vanilla is similar to the musky sweetness of creed aventus. Although I still kept noticing the citrus vibe from the opening several hours later.
For the price that I paid for this, I was happy with the 4 hours longevity with moderate projection. If you spray heavily, it might last for 6+ hrs.
In a word, go for this if you want to experience creed aventus without really spending anything. This will do the job for sure.
WHEN TO WEAR:
As a clone for Aventus, No 9 Victor Milton Lloyd is the cheapest option you will find with rave reviews on the internet. People won’t believe the insane price if you tell them. ( after they compliment you, of course )

- Very safe and straightforward fragrance.
Final Thoughts
It is tough to live up to the reputation of an iconic fragrance like creed aventus. But the colognes in this review are similar enough and sell at a significantly lower price tag.
In the end, picking any one of them would be a nifty hack to smell like creed aventus without spending hundreds of dollars.
Personally, I love Armaf Club de Nuit the most among these. But for Editor’s choice, I’d pick Afnan Supremacy Silver.
