A few sprays of Creed Millesime Imperial and you’ll feel like walking on a beach, sand between your toes, and the luscious warm sun rays. The melon and sea salt notes combine to create a divine scent.
This aquatic nature of fruity notes will continue for a while. Actually it never fully goes away, being the signature scent of Creed MI. In the middle, there are a few citrusy notes that add a refreshing vibe to the overall scent.

The reason? Well, Armaf has used almost the same type of notes in the opening. A fresh, fruity scent paired with salty aquatic notes. The red fruit notes like raspberry and watermelon are prominent here, sometimes overshadowing the salty touch.
In the middle, there’s violet and some woody notes. You’ll get the sweet vibe from violet similar to Creed MI’s iris note.
After that, it’s musky and warm thanks to ambroxan and vetiver. The dry-down smells just like Creed MI.

I’d say the opening of this fragrance was truly unforgettable. There’s an abundance of bright and zesty citrus fruits in the beginning, ranging from Sicilian lemon to mandarin orange, grapefruit and bergamot.

Created by visionary perfumer Haby Hafez, Citron del Mar is more of an inspired version of Creed Mi that puts a modern twist on the original cologne. It smells utterly fantastic, but I think it hasn’t got the attention it deserves from the community.
It so deserves the praise, though!
Right from the start, I got the same feeling as Creed MI. It’s very fresh, airy and salty, effortlessly capturing the exotic ocean and fruity nature of MI.
It doesn’t end there!
The middle is powdery and musky, from? Would you believe, iris and citrus fruits. There’s also marine and woody notes in the base. So you can imagine how these two colognes smell exactly alike in drydown.
The only difference I noticed is Citron de mar felt sweeter and louder without any harshness. And for that reason, I’d say millenials would prefer it more than Creed Mi.

If you’re looking for a low priced or budget fragrance that smells similar to Creed mi, skip this one. Osaito is the most expensive cologne out of all that’s been reviewed here. It’s a good alternative for those who have some cash to spare and looking for an extraordinary fragrance that smells like Creed mi.
Let me tell you about the first thing that made me go “wow” and pick up this cologne. It’s the killer looking Matte Black Bottle with a gray cap.
Trust me, the overall design has such a dark and prestigious vibe to it that’s simply not comparable to anything else other than Creed MI’s elegant gold bottle. It looks like something Darth Vader or a Sith lord from Star Wars would keep along with his lightsaber. Definitely a collector’s edition item!
After spraying, it has the opposite feeling! The opening is super bright and salty, just like Creed MI. I got the smell of citrus fruits and aquatic notes in the background.
Middle is floral and a bit bitter from Myrtle and marigold. It’s not overpowering, though. The drydown is warm, pleasant, and masculine. The combination of amber,musk and exoric woods make this cologne a joy to wear.
Finally, the performance was not bad considering the high price but it’s not beast mode either. Longevity was above average, I got upto 6-7 hours with moderate projection.
Again, this is by no means a cheap clone of Creed MI.
Rather, it’s a niche juice from a house that makes artisan quality fragrances. Still, you can get this for one third of the price of Creed mi. And be sure that anyone who looks at the gorgeous Osaito bottle will be curious and ask you about the house.
Compliments are a bonus!
A TIP: If you don’t want to spend that much on a similar cologne, I’d suggest getting Mancera Wild Fruits instead of Osaito M. Micallef.
As you can guess from the name, the prominent nites in that cologne are citrus fruit notes. On first sniff, it felt like a delicious fruit candy to me. I wanted to include it in this list but the salty nature of Creed MI is missing from Mancera wild fruits.
Rather, this Mancera fragrance felt like an inspired creation, like a mix of Creed SMW and MI. Grab this one if you still want a premium cologne that resembles Creed’s original cologne.

WHEN TO WEAR:

Middle notes: Birch, jasmine, patchouli, and rose.

At last, I found the most affordable clone of Creed MI that still has a good quality juice. These two fragrances are a mile apart in terms of the price, but the scents are quite similar and both follow the same fragrance DNA.
As usual, the opening is clean and fruity, I couldn’t find any salty aquatic vibe here. Instead there was a spicy undertone from cardamom.
After that excellent opening, the middle was a bit disappointing to be honest. It’s floral and herbal. But the absinthe note adds a synthetic and alcoholic tone to it that I didn’t like very much. It’s one of those comprising factors of getting a cheap cologne.
Fortunately, the dry down redeemed all of those flaws. It’s musky, woody and it reminded me of Creed MI’s excellent drydown.
Ofcourse, you can’t expect top of the market quality juice and performance like Creed MI at this price. But I was pretty happy with the 4 hours longevity and moderate projection.
Get this asap if you want to feel the vibe of Creed MI under 30 bucks.
WHEN TO WEAR:
I’d suggest wearing it on only casual occasions as the synthetic smell might be off putting for some people in the office. Still, this is a steal at this price.

Final Thoughts
There are so many alternatives to Creed Millesime Imperial in the market. It was tough to find the best fragrances similar to Creed Millesime Imperial , but I tried my best.
