Initially, a sweet, exotic citrus scent of cassis blew me away when I opened the cap and sprayed it on my wrist. Slowly, the juicy overtones of orange and earthy herbal basil evoke invigorating feelings at the top.

As the perfume mellowed, I really got confused about which notes to explain first. Here, the perfumer Delphine Jelk adds an experienced touch by merging a lot of ingredients to give it a perfect tune.

The dense, sweet honey emerges first, collaborating with the dewy, velvety rose and a hint of spice from anise. You’ll also get the subtle presence of orange blossom as well before the sweetness completely takes over.

Once it dries down, the sweetness intensifies with the vanilla in the base, and the rich sandalwood complements the sweetness with its woodsy hint.

The aroma lasts for more than 10 hours with just 2 to 3 sprays at your wrists, and this made me feel my money was worth spending on this fancy flanker.
