Roja Elixir Pour Femme Essense De Parfum: Sensual and Exotic
Middle notes are Rose de Mai, Raspberry, Peach, Violet, Heliotrope, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Geranium and Lily-of-the-Valley;
Base notes are Musk, Cashmere Wood, Vanilla, Orris, Violet Leaf, Ambrette (Musk Mallow), Sandalwood, Cedar and Cinnamon.

As I am a big fan of house ‘Roja’, my friend gifted me this on my birthday in 2019; the year it was released.
As soon as you spray this perfume, you will smell a bouquet of flowers covered with citrusy richness.
Rose being in the center of all the florals. However, it is not any rose, it’s rose de mai. Its speciality is, the smell has a clear aroma with a touch of sweet honey.
Moreover, this honey sweetness works in a great harmony with the vanilla in the dry down. Raspberry brings the sweetness to your nose as well.
This feminine fragrance is definitely a head-turner. People will ask you what you are wearing.The complexity here is very unique.

Roja 51 Pour Femme: Soft, Buttery Floral Scent
Middle notes are Ylang-Ylang, Raspberry, Gardenia, Tuberose, Rose, Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Lily-of-the-Valley;
Base notes are Vanilla, Cashmere Wood, Violet Leaf, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Cinnamon, Orris Root, Anise, Patchouli and Cloves.
Roja 51 was a blind buy for me because a sale was going on at the time and the price for it was really good.
In the opening, you will definitely smell the bergamot and raspberry. I do smell some of the vanilla as well.
This perfume is so well blended that you will find it difficult to pick out the notes individually. You Moreover, will realize that it has many floral notes but they work all as one.
The orris root gives the fragrance a powdery vibe and the sandalwood makes it creamy.
Look, Roja 51 smells like an expensive scent which will automatically make you feel elegant and confident. Although it doesn’t project much but it lasts for 6 to 7 hours.

Roja Risque: Perfect Mixture of Versatile Notes
Middle notes are Chamomile, Hyacinth, Rose, Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang;
Base notes are Oakmoss, Civet, Patchouli, Vetiver, Labdanum and Cedar.
The main reason why I love Risque so much is that it has everything. Yes, everything!
You will find floral, smokey and earthy notes in it. Hey, you may think: what if it’s too much? There is where the magic lies.
Even though Risque has so many accords, it does not make you feel overwhelmed in any part of its journey.
Initially, the perfume is bright but it hits you with a sweetness which I really like. Of course, you will still get the freshness from the bergamot and lemon. This provides the depth of the fragrance as well.
The florals come after a while and make this perfume beautiful. In the dry down, the sweet woodsiness makes the scent so pleasant. Vetiver creates the exact amount of smokiness which it needs.
Also, Tonka bean is very well used in this perfume.

Roja Scandal: Uplifting & Mysterious
Middle notes are Tuberose, Gardenia, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Freesia, Rose and Lily-of-the-Valley;
Base notes are Orris Root, Musk and Sandalwood.
Scandal was released in 2007 and I tried it out pretty recently. So, yes, you can say that I was late in the game. But better late than never, right?
When you first spray Scandal, you will receive an uplifting freshness from bergamot. This will remind you of the ray of sunshine.
The freshness shines down perfectly to the heart notes which are a luscious garden of florals.
The dry down has a depth and mysteriousness which leads you to the scandalous part. The musk adds a creaminess to it. It’s dark and sexy. This helps you to be unapologetically you.
Yes, you will be in the spotlight when you are wearing Scandal for about 7 to 8 hours straight.

Roja Danger: Classy and Complex Scent
Middle notes are Ylang-Ylang, Gardenia, Peach, Violet, Jasmine and May Rose;
Base notes are Sandalwood, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Orris Root, Cloves, Musk and Patchouli.
Next we have ‘Danger’ on our list. When I first sniffed it, my very initial impression was that it is a classy fragrance.
Danger was released in 2011 and the nose behind it was Roja Dove himself.
It is quite a complex scent so it is difficult to pick up an individual note. It is a classy floral fragrance.
The florals are wrapped around with vanilla. The clove in the dry down provides you a little bit of spiciness.
However, Danger has a depth which helps it to last for at least 10 to 12 hours.

Look, If you like Chanel No. 5 by Chanel then you will love Danger as they fall in the same category.

Roja Reckless: Bright and Happy Citrus
Middle notes are Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Peach, Rose, Violet, Geranium and Amaryllis;
Base notes are oak moss, Musk, Tonka Bean, Leather, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Orris Root, Castoreum, Cinnamon and Clove.
By now you probably have noticed that the Roja fragrances have names which are evoking. So, next on the list with no surprises has an evoking name as well ‘Reckless’.
I smell sweet orange with the first sniff. You won’t find the bitterness from the bergamot here.
This makes the perfume more bright and juicy. Neroli is there as well, it is not sharp but sunny.
The brightness is controlled by the spiciness of the fragrance. I would not call it a spicy scent but it brings a nice balance.
After a while, it smells like a sensuous full bloom garden after the rain. No, it does not have any aquatic accords or smell like rain. But the flowers smell as strong as they do when it rains.
