About 4 months ago, I went to a perfumery shop and sprayed Knowing on me. Without purchasing it, I left the shop and went on a brunch with my friends. They couldn’t stop telling me how wonderful I was smelling the whole day. Hence, I decided to buy this one.
The opening is airy, soapy and aldehydic. Don’t get me wrong, it is a very strong and unapologetic perfume. You can definitely catch the green notes and minisa as well.
After a while, you start smelling the combination of rose and patchouli with a multi-layered greenness. There is a sourness to it. It is a complex but beautiful fragrance.
It is all about the intensity of oakmoss and woodsy notes in the dry down. When I used Knowing for a couple of days, it reminded me of Diva by Emanuel Ungaro.
Thinking about the lasting and projection power? It is unbeatable. Yes, it stays for 24 hours on my skin and it screams wherever you go. No one can ever ignore you when you are wearing this beast.

Youth-Dew Estee Lauder
Middle notes are Spicy Notes, Cloves, Cinnamon, Rose, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Lily-of-the-Valley, Cassia and Orchid;
Base notes are Incense, Tolu Balsam, Patchouli, Peru Balsam, Oakmoss, Amber, Vetiver, Vanilla and Musk.
I don’t think my review would be of any worth if I don’t talk about Youth-Dew in my article which is about the best perfumes of Estee Lauder.
It is the very first perfume released by Estee Lauder. And let me tell you, what a creation they have made.
How funny it is because Youth-Dew was not designed to be a perfume, it was supposed to be a bath oil.
Can you imagine? One of the greatest perfumes was not intended to be a perfume to begin with.
If you like opium by Yves Saint Laurent, then you will like Youth-Dew as well.
It is a spicy oriental fragrance. Tolu balsam and peru balsam are focused here. This is what makes Youth-Dew unique because it is not solely focused on amber.

This perfume is rich, dark, thick, powdery and boosey with a luxurious feeling. And again, Estee Lauder has created another masterpiece when it comes to longevity and progention. It goes long for 24 hours straight.

I have been trying Sensuous for the last 1 week to understand the notes and performance of this fragrance.
After the initial spray, you will be hit by strong pepper and sandalwood. However, this goes away with 15 to 20 minutes and you are left with a soft, creamy and powdery scent.
It is a close-to-skin fragrance. The name of the perfume really goes well with the smell of the scent.
If you want to try a woody scent then you should try Sensuous because it has a perfect balance of woodiness with florals in the background.

White Linen has a special place in my heart because growing up it was my mother’s signature scent. And I know for sure, even you have smelled it somewhere as it is a very famous perfume.
White Linen was released in 1978 and it is made by one of the most renowned perfumers who is Sophia Grojsman.
It is another floral bouquet by Estee Lauder. Whenever you smell it, you will feel like a flower bouquet has punched you on your face in a good way of course.
Not only that, the aldehydes are strong, sparkly and fizzy. It has a spicy and green touch to it from hyacinth. Hyacinth gives you the vintage feeling as well because nowadays perfumers do not use them quite often.
It projects really well for the first 1 to 2 hours then it becomes close to your skin. I receive a longevity of 5 to 6 hours which is moderate.
This is the kind of fragrance which you would love to apply after taking a shower because of its freshness.

Another refreshing flower bouquet for spring and summer. You will absolutely love the added vibe it gives to you when you are wearing your pretty dress.

Do you like the smell of coconut? If you do, then it’s not possible for you to dislike it. Because Sensuous Nude is all about creamy coconut.
I love anything which has coconut in it. It could be a shampoo, body wash or body lotion, absolutely anything!
Hence, for me, when I smelt Sensuous Nude for the first time, I went straight to heaven and there was no turning back.
It makes you feel warm and cozy with a powdery touch. Ah, I cannot explain how much I love it.
After the smoothness of coconut, you will smell the musk and sandalwood which give this perfume its depth. It has a powerful effect on men.
I got around 5 to 6 hours of longevity with moderate projection by this fragrance.

WHEN TO WEAR:
This perfume is perfect for office wear. It is light but effective. The combination of seasons when you should wear it is kind of weird because I feel like it is good if you wear it in summer and fall.

On the first day of the trial of Modern Muse, I went to the trade fair with my friends. It was a very hot and humid day.
However, it still lasted for 8 hours which was superb. And it aslo projects well as my friends complimented me quite a few times.. It was a win-win for me.
It starts with a sharp orange note but doesn’t still like that for too long. Then comes the two dominant florals which are lily and jasmine. And they change the whole game of this fragrance.
If that was not enough, in the dry down, patchouli and strong wood stick with you the entire time. It is quite musky as well.
It projects the clearest, sweetest nuances of crisp white floral with a radiant light.
WHEN TO WEAR:
The brightness of the perfume makes it appropriate for summer. I absolutely love how uplifting and energetic it makes me feel in the heat.
